Causes behind Shoulder Pain
Our shoulder consists of three bones, the upper part is called the humerus, then there is our shoulder blade scientifically call the scapula, then the collarbone, or clavicle. The humerus fits into the glenoid (socket) that is in our shoulder blade. The muscle, tendons, and tissues that connects them, keeps them in place.
Shoulder pain can develop over time just from wear and tear or can happen instantly from a sports injury or a fall that causes fracture, dislocation, or tissue tears. Other causes include Osteoarthritis, infecting the shoulder joint causing the joint break down. Rheumatoid arthritis causing inflammation in the joint. Freezing Shoulder where the tissues that connect the shoulder blade become thick and inflamed. Shoulder Bursitis where the fluid sacs that help our bones move with ease burst and bone one bone friction happens. Even sleeping wrong can trigger sore shoulder pain.
